[Europe] Master Scholarship in Mechatronic and Micro-Mechatronic Systems by Erasmus Mundus

The Erasmus Mundus Master in Mechatronic and Micro-Mechatronic Systems (EU4M) is a two-year, international Masters programme, in which three high-rated European universities participate. As a student, you will familiarize with the development and also the maintenance of systems which consist of a very high level of complexity (cars, airplanes, satellites, space laboratories, pace makers, micro-laboratories, mobile communication systems, self adaptive systems in optics, in robotics, ...).

During the program, you will work two years on universities in two different countries: Karlsruhe (Germany), Besançon (France) and Gijón (Spain). During the First Year identical lessons are given at each institution to bring the students up to the same level of knowledge. The Second Year has to be studied at one of the two other institutions. The theoretical lessons are combined with practical training from industry and research centers.

Deadline for applying is 31st January.

Lectures are given in the local languages French, German and/or Spanish. Language learning and integration into the society is supported by our successful TandemPlusSystem, where each third country student will work together with one local/european student and his mentor, a local professor. Besides earning a world-class qualification, you`ll have the chance to learn new languages and intercultural skills.

During your thesis work you will meet and work with professionals from various backgrounds and gather knowledge on a wide range of issues involved, you will also get a comprehensive EU perspective on mechatronic related technologies. This will help you develop a coherent and integrated approach that is applicable to a more global perspective as well.

Different grants are available for noneuropean scholars and for european and noneuropean students. If you need more information, please feel free to contact the coordinator or directly the contact person at one of the three partner institutions.

Non-european students can apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarship (21.000 € per year, awarded by the Master consortium). This request procedure is included in the EU4M Master Application Form. Deadline for applying is 31st January.

European students are not eligible for Erasmus Mundus scholarships. They can however apply for other grants such as Erasmus/Socrates. This action should be done separately from the EU4M Erasmus Mundus application procedure.

Non-european scholars can apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarship (13.000 € per a period of 3 months).

Please contact the EU4M Master Project Manager for any general question and the local university partner for specific questions.
